•  Public institution «Nature Park Medvednica» has presented « Forest trail Bliznec» on a conference «Protected areas of European mountains – the place of life and exchange» in France , Chambery ( November 13 - 17 2002 ), held on the occasion of international year of mountains. For that purpose a poster was made named: «First Croatian trail for persons with special needs in Nature Park Medvednica». The article was published in Forestry bulletin 1-2, 127: 51-60 (N. Farkaš-Topolnik, H. Krauthacker, N. Trenc).



•  A presentation «Sustainable development of recreation and tourism in protected areas of Croatia : Issues and indicators» on the subject sustainable tourism, in cooperation with Mr. Vuk Tvrtko Opačić (assistant on Department of Geography, Faculty of Natural Science), was presented on a congress in Sophia , Bulgaria (S. Malić-Limari)

•  As a part of a seminar on the subject of «Ecology in education» in Gospić , Croatia , an expert paper on the subject of Education in protected areas ( S. Malić – Limari) was presented.

•  “Measures of protection of biodiversity in forests of Nature Park Medvednica” (S. Malić-Limari) in cooperation with Hrvatske šume (D. Zurak) was presented after the opening ceremony of Info-center in Golubovec, Donja Stubica. This paper was a part of presentation of researches and expert papers done in the area of the Park.



•  Expert paper on the subject of “Interpretation in protected areas” on a Conference on educational trails, held in Ministry of Culture, was presented. The second day of the conference, in Nature Park Medvednica” at the beginning of Forest trail Bliznec a presentation was done about this trail which has been adapted for persons with special needs (S. Malić-Limari)
