CONSERVATION SERVICE and SUPERVISION SERVICE perform all works in Public institution «Nature Park Medvednica» lead by institution manager – DIRECTOR.

Among other, the task of «Nature Park Medvednica» is to control legal requirements of nature protection issued by Ministry of culture –Nature Conservation Department
(http://www.min-kulture.hr/propisi/propisi_fr.html).

Public institution cannot ban any activity, as well as usage of natural resources in Nature Park; for example, forest felling or construction of some object; if nature protection requirements exist, and if the works are conducted in accordance with them.

Director organizes and runs management of the Institution, and represents the Institution.

Conservation service lead by conservation manager deals with expert works within the framework of protection, preservation, promotion and usage of Nature Park Medvednica, based on annual and long-term plans and programs.

Supervision service. Immediate protection in Nature Park is performed by supervisors based on authorization stipulated by the Law on nature protection («Narodne novine», 70/05)
and Book of rules on internal order of Nature Park Medvednica.
